Proposl ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it.

By using Proposl, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

We collect the following categories of information:

Account information

• Your name and email address, provided when you sign up via Clerk (our authentication provider)
• Profile information associated with your account

Proposal content

• The inputs you provide when generating proposals (client name, project type, budget, description)
• The generated proposal text stored in your account

Usage data

• Number of proposals generated
• Feature interactions within the app
• Timestamps of account activity

Payment information

• Billing information is handled entirely by Stripe — we do not store your card details
• We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status to manage your plan

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and operate the Proposl service
• Authenticate your account and keep it secure
• Generate AI-powered proposals based on your inputs
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Send transactional emails (account notifications, billing receipts) via Resend
• Improve the reliability and performance of the Service
• Respond to support requests

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your proposal content to train AI models.

Each of these providers operates under their own privacy policy. We recommend reviewing their policies if you have specific concerns about how they handle data.

Your data is stored securely in Supabase, which is hosted on infrastructure in the United States. We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and access controls to protect your data.

While we take reasonable precautions to protect your information, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent for optional communications at any time

To exercise any of these rights, or to request deletion of your account and data, please email us at hello@proposl.ai. We will respond within 30 days.

You can also delete your account directly from the Settings page within the app, which will remove your data from our systems.

Proposl uses cookies solely for authentication purposes — specifically, session cookies managed by Clerk to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but doing so will prevent you from logging in to the Service.

Proposl is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at hello@proposl.ai and we will take steps to delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes relating to this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland, Australia.
